National Officer Candidate Information
Planning on running for national office? Please be sure to review the below information on national officer elections. - Understand the national officer election process by using the 2010 Step-by-Step Guide to National Election Process Guidebook (.pdf)
- National Officer Candidates and advisers must read the entire combined 2010-2011 National Executive Council/Adviser Handbook in order to run for office. The Handbook will be posted in February!
- National Officer Candidates, advisers, and state advisers should review the election information posted in the December Election Release. The release includes information on the National Officer Candidate Information. Check back in December for the Release!
- Candidates must complete the 2010 National Officer Candidate Application and mail to national headquarters by postmark date May 15. The application will be posted in February.
- The 2010 National Officer Candidate Speech Topic will be posted in February!
- The National Officer Candidate Test: The test will be adminstered at the 2010 National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Illinois prior to the National Officer Candidate Orientation on Saturday, July 3. Check back for more information regarding a study guide.
- Check back for the 2010 National Officer Candidate Adviser Memo & Schedule and tentative agenda.
